Welcome to the Logan County Humane Society!

We are proud to have served Logan County and our animals since 1989. Our main goal is to improve the lives of companion animals in our community and find permanent and loving adoptive homes for the cats and dogs in our care.

Annual Pets with Santa Photos

Do you have jingle bells on your collar? Time for Pet Photos with Santa!

Santa Pet Photos

Saturday, December 10 at 9am - 1pm at the old Courthouse

You will be able to get your pet’s photograph with Santa Claus, while enjoying refreshments. All proceeds will go to the society’s rescue fund. Photos will be printed before you leave the event. You will also be able to purchase a CD of all the photographs.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We need volunteers to join us with help at the shelter and fundraisers! We have a lot going on, and need pet lovers everywhere to join us. Email us through our Volunteer page, or call us at 270-726-2186.

Pets of the Week

Robin is a sweet boxer mix who was found as a stray and was brought to the humane society to help find her a good home. At only about 2 years old, Robin is still young and loves to run and play and have fun. Click here to learn more about Robin!

Nadia is a gorgeous 20 pound domestic long hair cat who came to us already spayed and declawed. She is a calm cat and is litter box trained. Nadia is seeking a new family that would love to take her in. Click here to learn more about Nadia!
